• Se usa para hablar
de una acción anterior a otra que también ocurrió en el pasado.
After he had made coffee, he sat down. Después
de que el hubo hecho café, se sentó.
The patient had died when the doctor arrived. El
paciente había muerto cuando el doctor llegó.
He was very tired because he hadn’t sleep well. Él estaba
muy cansado porque no había dormido bien.
