SUSTANTIVOS
Se usa more para sustantivos contables e
incontables; less para incontables,
distancias y sumas de dinero; y fewer
para contables.

COMPARACION DE
IGUALDAD
Para formar la
comparación de igualdad con adjetivos se utiliza el modelo: as + adjetivo + as.
Tom is as old as Jeff. Tom es tan viejo como Jeff.
My son is as tall as your son.
Mi hijo es tan alto como el tuyo.
Para formar la
comparación de igualdad con adverbios se utiliza el modelo: as + adverbio + as.
She spoke as slowly as she could.
Ella habló tan lento como pudo.
She dances as well as her daughter.
Ella baila tan bien como su hija.

AS MUCH AS: permite
hacer una comparación de igualdad con sustantivos incontables, cuando nos
referimos a una cantidad importante de algo.
They ran as much as us. Ellos corrieron tanto como nosotros.
He has as much success as his brother. Él tiene
tanto éxito como su hermano.
AS LITTLE AS: permite
hacer una comparación de igualdad con sustantivos incontables, cuando la
cantidad es poca.
He has as little food as him.
Él tienen tan poca comida como él.
He has as little courage as you.
Él tiene tan poco coraje como tu.
AS MANY AS: permite
hacer una comparación de igualdad con sustantivos contables en plural, cuando
nos referimos a un número importante de algo.
They have as many children as us.
Ellos tienen tantos niños como nosotros.
We have as many customers as them.
Tenemos tantos clientes como ellos.
AS FEW AS: permite
hacer una comparación de igualdad con sustantivos contables en plural, cuando
tenemos un número menor de algo.
