EXPRESAR ACUERDO
El modelo so +
auxiliar + sujeto expresa acuerdo con lo expresado o hecho por otra(s)
persona(s) en las oraciones afirmativas. Se debe hacer concordar con la oración
principal los verbos be, have,
modales y do (para el resto de
verbos).
I’m tired. ~ So am I. Estoy cansado. ~ Yo también.
I like dancing. ~ So does she. Me gusta bailar. ~ A ella también.
I played golf yesterday. ~ So did I. Yo jugué
golf ayer. ~ Yo también.
I’ve got a lot of money. ~ So have we. Tengo
mucho dinero. ~ Nosotros también.
He’ll be too busy this evening. ~ So will I. Él estará

ALSO: en adición a;
también. Se usa en oraciones afirmativas y se coloca seguido de be, have, modales, antes del
resto de verbos y en medio de tiempos compuestos.
You know my opinion and also my intention. Tú sabes
mi opinión y también mi intención.
You are a clever man, but you are also a fool. Eres un
hombre inteligente, pero también eres un tonto.
EITHER: se usa en
oraciones negativas con el sentido de too.
He is not ready. ~ I am not ready either. Él no
está listo. ~ Yo tampoco estoy listo.
I couldn’t find it. ~ He couldn’t find it either. No pude encontrarlo.
~ Él tampoco pudo encontrarlo.
